City Council Meetings

April 1, 2025

For those interested in City Council, our next meetings are today, Tuesday, April 1st. The regular session starts at 7:00 p.m. at Council Chambers at City Hall Building (110 S Center St); The work session starts at 5:30pm. The work session has no significant agenda items and will mainly be to talk about items on the regular session agenda.


In our regular session, we’ll have the usual review of past city council meeting minutes, along with a review of city expenses and surplus property. 


We have some recognitions and appointments. We’ll recognize Jon Hepworth as our employee of the month. We’ll have an update from the Chamber of Commerce. And lastly we’ll have an appointment of Kale Smith to the RAP Tax Committee.


There’s quite a few resolutions and ordinances in the regular session. Here’s a list:


Highlighting the first 3 resolutions: The first one is an agreement to have Utah County continue to administer our upcoming local election. The second one is to accept a grant to help fund work related to our general plan. The third is a proposal by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for the City to jointly support a community initiative known as My Hometown that helps provide community resources and service projects in local communities.
