In the work session, city council will be touring the Grey Cliffs Development on the northeast part of town. This will be a great opportunity for us as a city council to see it up close and learn more about the vision.
In our regular session, it’ll be fairly simple this time around. As usual, we have the consent agenda that includes approving prior meetings minutes along with recent city expenditures.
The two other items on the regular session’s agenda are resolutions.
The first is an update to our fee schedule. I appreciate staff working to update our fee schedule. These updates ensure that the fees we charge are more accurately reflecting the cost/burden it takes to provide the services and infrastructure to the users of those. Careful consideration is taken and thorough research is done when updating the fee schedule.
The second resolution is an agreement with Summit Creek Rodeo Club for things such as practicing roping and other rodeo events, temporarily housing livestock used in its activities, etc. It includes them also helping with Orchard Days.
If you have questions or concerns about anything on the agenda items for this Tuesday’s City Council meetings, please reach out.
